Foul play not a factor in death of inmate

Sulphur Springs – Hopkins County authorities are reporting the death of an inmate early Wednesday morning inside his cell.

Foul play is not suspected in the death of 30-year-old David Allen Robinson, of Sulphur Springs, who is said to have a history of medical problems. He was found dead shortly after 3:30 a.m.

An investigation, however, is being conducted and an autopsy has been ordered.
