Commerce – A fourth candidate has filed for the Commerce Independent School District Board of Trustees.

Hector Arce, a program manager at L-3 Communications has filed for Place 7 on the Board. He'll oppose incumbent Medley Wilson in the May 9 election.

Previously, Randy Starks and Emma Martin filed for Place 6, which is currently held by Debbie Aikin. Aikin has recently indicated she will not be seeking another term.
Filing continues now through next Monday at the CISD Administration Building at 604 Culver St.

For the City of Commerce, a second candidate has filed for May's election. Tommy Hall is seeking Place 1 on the ballot, which is currently held by Tony Henry. Henry, along with Place 3 incumbent Richard Hill, have not yet indicated if they'll be seeking re-election. A&M-Commerce junior David Hit is the only person to file for Place 3.
