Greenville – Festivities are slated for Saturday in Greenville to celebrate their recent downtown revitalization. Milton Babb is chairman of Friends of Main Street, the group who organized the event. Babb says with the recent renovation, downtown Greenville is again becoming a great atmosphere for business and entertainment.

Recent completion of Greenville's Streetscape Project; which includes new sidewalks, Victorian lamps and plants has helped lead to a resurgence of new business downtown. Five of six new businesses to downtown Greenville will have ribbon cuttings to kick off the celebration. Businesses include women's clothing, boutiques, cafes and wineries.
