Freezing rain possible through Sunday

While the bulk of this weekend's ice storm has already impacted the region, sub-freezing temperatures and a chance for wintry precipitation will continue through Sunday.

Friday night, a break in cloud cover should result in very cold overnight low temperatures, with thermometer readings expected in the mid-teens. Winds out of the north around 10-15 mph, gusting to 20, could result in wind-chill values in the single digits to low teens.

On Saturday, there's a slight chance for freezing drizzle around midday. Temperatures should climb to the low 20s by around noon and remain there through Saturday night.

A chance for a wintry mix of freezing drizzle and sleet will continue into Sunday morning. Temperatures should begin to rise late Sunday morning and eventually reach the low 30s by Sunday afternoon.

Sunday night, lows should be in the mid 20s, with no precipitation in the forecast.
