Freezing temperatures may bring snow

By Kevin Jefferies

Hunt County – Despite a very mild fall, winter may be hitting the area full-force in the next few days. An arctic cold front is expected to hit Hunt County today, and freezing precipitation or snow may follow by tomorrow. Today has been declared Winter Weather Awareness Day by the Texas Division of Emergency Management, and the bitter cold looks to arrive just in time for it. There may be up to a 50% chance of some precipitation for tomorrow, but forecasters don't expect any accumulation to stick.
