Funeral Friday for Greenville worker

Lone Oak – Funeral services are Friday for a Greenville City worker that died in a Tuesday morning accident near Campbell. 34 year old David Gann of Lone Oak was pinned between a dump truck and a bulldozer after his truck was pulled free when it got stuck while dumping a load at the Republic/Maloy Landfill near Campbell.

The married father of one was an ASA football and basketball referee for chapters in Greenville and Commerce. A memorial fund has been established through American National Bank of Lone Oak for his daughter, Payton.

Services are 2pm Friday at the First Baptist Church of Lone Oak. Visitation is from 6pm to 8pm today at Lynch Funeral Service on Greenville.
