A longtime East Texas football coach and graduate of East Texas State University has lost his battle with prostate cancer.
The Tyler Morning Telegraph reports that Ken Little died Tuesday at the age of 60.
His last coaching job was as Henderson's defensive coordinator for their state championship team this year. Little also served as coach at Rains, Gladewater, Big Sandy, Hughes Springs and Beckville.
Little was diagnosed with cancer in August 2009 but continued to coach and teach through this past fall.
Visitation is scheduled for 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Greggton Baptist Church in Longview. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the same location.
