Hunt County – Publicity will be limited in another Hunt County capitol murder case. A gag order has been issued in the case of Jerry Lynn Phelps, charged with murder in connection with the shooting death of Charlene Hoover Jones last October.
A judge also Thursday agreed to seal the file until such time as the prosecution in the case has ended.
Jones died after being shot multiple times as she worked at the Jackpot Game Room between Quinlan and West Tawakoni.
Phelps, of Wills Point, remains in custody at the Hunt County Jail. He has pleaded not guilty.
