Greenville – The City of Greenville's electric utility system and electric generating plant are looking to join forces. The proposed Cobisa electric generating plant would use facilities provided by GEUS to transmit power to the statewide grid, under an agreement to be considered by the GEUS board. The GEUS board of trustees is scheduled to meet in a special session at noon Tuesday to discuss and possibly take action on a resolution to approve a standard generation interconnection agreement. The meeting is to be conducted in the GEUS Service Center, at 6000 Joe Ramsey Boulevard in Greenville.
