Sulphur Springs – Sulphur Springs police are looking for the person responsible for a hit-and-run that struck down a 5 year old girl as she was trying to board the school bus Wednesday. The girl was hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries.
The bus was stopped with lights flashing when a gray or white car struck the girl as she was attempting to cross the street. The girl was able to tell police what happened and say she had pain all down her left side.
