GMA Receives Major Facelift; 'Numb Butts' Fund Raiser Saturday, February 20

The Greenville Municipal Auditorium is undergoing a major renovation that should be complete in time for a Greenville Entertainment Series event Monday night, February 1, although the campaign to replace the 75-year-old seats in the auditorium continues.  Funding has already been raised to replace more than 800 seats on the first floor.  A "numb butts" fund-raising event is set for Saturday evening, February 20 at the Emerald Ballroom in downtown Greenville.  Pud Kearns with Housewarmers of Greenville and the new manager of the GMA, Kevin Banks, are the guests on this edition of the Blacklands Cafe.
