Hunt County – The Hunt County Grand begins a new term today. Local prosecutors are scheduled to present evidence in felony cases for consideration by the 196th District Court beginning today. The current grand jury will begin a six-month term running through June, with hundreds of new indictments expected to be presented during the period. The previous grand jury, which served the 354th District Court, returned 322 indictments during its term between June and December of last year.
