Sulphur Springs – The Hopkins County Grand Jury will be handling the case of a Paris man, shot and killed Sunday afternoon near Sulphur Springs.
Investigators say 38-year-old Anthony Earnest was reportedly shot in the chest with his own gun following a struggle over the weapon at Joe Bob's Convenience storm north of town.
The name of the other person involved, who was also from Paris, had not been released, at last report. The two were reportedly fighting over a woman.
