Greenville – The current edition of the Hunt County grand jury meets Friday, but two local homicides will not be addressed.
Sheriff Randy Meeks says the investigation involving the death of Michael Joe Nix, of Quinlan, has been concluded. But data is not ready yet for presentation to the Grand Jury. Nix was the victim of a shooting death in February 2010 at a West Tawakoni residence.
Another investigation into the Christmas Eve shooting death of Alexander Bug, of Wills Point, was still ongoing. Noah Woods, also of Wills Point, has been arrested and since posted bond in connection to the murder.
