Grand Jury to meet as session nears end

Hunt County – The current edition of the Hunt County Grand Jury is nearing the end of its term of issuing indictments. They meet Friday.

Two recent homicide cases may be among those which the panel reviews before the end of the year.

Joshua William Lay, of Greenville, remains in custody in lieu of $100,000 bond for the alleged Aug. 27 murder of Darryl Dwayne Feggett, also of Greenville, at a local apartment complex.

Randall Douglas Smith, of Caddo Mills is still in jail on $500,000 bond, charged with the murder of Gregory Poteet, also of Caddo Mills.
