Grand Saline Police Chief Placed on Administrative Leave

Grand Saline Police Chief Justin Collins has been placed on administrative leave following complaints filed by all six officers on the force. 

The complaints include  allegations of  fraud and violation of city policies. Collins was placed on leave Wednesday.

 

In a statement, Grand Saline Mayor Casey Jordan said the city is "moving ahead at the speed that the proper process allows us to move."

Sergeant Jason Burns will serve as acting police chief during the investigation.
