Grant funding to benefit several local libraries
By Scott Harvey
– Funding has been approved for nearly two dozen libraries in Northeast Texas through the Texas State Library and Archives Commission's Lone Star Grant Program.

Greenville's W. Walworth Harrison Public Library will receive over $8,500, a majority of which will be allocated to their summer reading program that last year saw nearly 800 participants. The remaining funds will be used to purchase digital books to add to the newly launched eLibrary.
