Greenville bus accident

By Kevin Jefferies

Greenville – Five Greenville students were sent to the hospital yesterday after the school bus they were in was involved in an accident, according to the Greenville Herald Banner. The bus was carrying about 50 students yesterday afternoon when the bus turned into an apartment complex parking lot and struck a Honda Civic.

The driver of the car was taken to Presbyterian of Greenville after complaints of back pain, and five students were also taken as a precautionary measure. All were released yesterday evening in good condition.

The driver of the bus was placed on routine administrative leave pending a blood test and investigation of the incident.
