Greenville City Council talks tattoos

Greenville – Council gave final approval Tuesday to a tattoo parlor in a shopping center at 3207 Wesley Street.

Where the parlors may be allowed to open in the future may soon be the subject of additional city regulations.

Referenced on Tuesday was last month's Planning and Zoning Commission meeting, during which Commission member Tim Stainback said the City should investigate adopting an ordinance regulating where tattoo parlors could locate, similar to the regulations adopted earlier this year limiting check-cashing businesses.

Estep said the Commission may consider such regulations when it meets Monday.
