Greenville – Greenville prepares to join a list of Texas cities restricting the sale of K2.
The City Council intends Tuesday to ban the substance outright; prohibiting the use, purchase, possession or sale within city limits.
Commerce, Sulphur Springs, McKinney, Allen, Plano and Mansfield are among other area cities that have either banned the substance entirely, or voted to restrict the product's sale to individuals under 21.
Although sold as incense, K2, when smoked, is said to give a marijuana-like high.
