Greenville – It's time to crunch the numbers in the City of Greenville. City Manager Steve Alexander is scheduled to present the 2010/2011 budget at the beginning of Tuesday's regular session.
The City is currently operating under a $56 million budget, funded by a property tax rate of 71 cents per $100 valuation, which was reduced from the previous fiscal year's 72 cents.
The Council needs to adopt a budget and tax rate before the start of the next fiscal year on Oct. 1.
