Greenville Council to dicuss fate of downtown streets

Greenville – There could soon be two fewer streets in downtown Greenville. The Greenville City Council tonight may vote to abandon public access to Monroe and Oak Streets on either side of the Municipal Building. Monroe would become part of the new Post Office property, while Oak would serve as a private parking lot.
