Greenville – The City of Greenville loses a round in its ongoing legal battle with L-3, as 354th District Court Judge Richard A. Beacom ruled Tuesday that he does has jurisdiction to consider arguments in the case.
An appeal was immediately filed by the city, again citing their claim that this is a municipal government issue, namely the contested re-plat of Majors Field Municipal Airport.
A final ruling on if Beacom does have jurisdiction will come from the Texas 5th District Court of Appeals in Dallas.
A temporary restraining order concerning the proposed re-plat remains in effect until October.
