Greenville Main Street receives high marks

Greenville – The Texas Historical Commission and the National Trust for Historic Preservation has recognized Greenville as a 2011 National Main Street City.

The announcement marks the tenth year in a row that Greenville has received the designation.

Cities chosen as National Main Street cities must show above average performance in categories including planning, preservation ethic and program assessment, among others.
