Greenville man again being sought for murder

By Brad Kellar

Greenville – A Greenville man is again being sought in connection with a murder.

A new arrest warrant was issued Tuesday for Andreas Tearri Morris, who was re-indicted Friday in connection with a shooting death in Greenville during the summer of 2007. A judge also Tuesday also set Morris' bond at $500,000.

Morris had pleaded not guilty in connection with the death in July 2007 of Cordarien Marquel Kelly, also of Greenville, and jury selection was scheduled for March 23. The trial was canceled and the original indictment against Morris dismissed after only a handful of the witnesses prosecutors had planned to testify appeared. Morris was then released from custody at the Hunt County Jail, where he had been incarcerated since his arrest in August 2007.
