Greenville man again seeks to have bond reduced

By Brad Kellar

Greenville – A Greenville man, charged with multiple counts of attempted capitol murder, is making another attempt to reduce his record bond.

Francisco Javier Davila has filed a second writ of habeas corpus seeking a reduction in his $6.5 million total bond.

He's charged with four counts of attempted capitol murder and one count of deadly conduct in an alleged gun battle with Greenville Police on July 10.

Last week, he was appointed an attorney. The new writ was filed Monday. No hearings had been immediately set.
