Greenville man gets life for drug distribution

By Brad Kellar

Greenville – A Greenville man, arrested in December as part of a crackdown on North Texas drug trafficking, has been found guilty and sentenced to life in prison.

A jury Wednesday found 59-year-old Ernest Lee McFail guilty of delivery of between one and four grams of cocaine. Following a sentencing hearing, the jury also assessed the sentence of life in prison.

McFail was one of dozens of individuals arrested. Officers from some 20 federal, state and local law enforcement agencies, along with soldiers from the Texas National Guard, were involved in making the December arrests across North Texas.
