Greenville man pleads not guilty to family violence

By Brad Kellar

Greenville – A not guilty plea has been entered in a Hunt County family violence case.

Timmy Lee Sprayberry, of Greenville, was arraigned Monday on one count of assault causing bodily injury to a family member. He also pleaded not guilty to a separate charge of possession of methamphetamine.

A tentative trial date was set for October 16 for both cases.

The indictment alleges Sprayberry chocked a female family member in Greenville in September 2009. The possession indictment alleges he was found with the drugs in April 2009.
