Greenville – A Greenville man has been sentenced to prison after pleading guilty to an armed robbery at a local store.
Marvin Lewis Arkansas received 20 years behind bars after entering the plea Wednesday to one count of aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon. He's to serve at least half of that sentence before being eligible for parole.
Arkansas was alleged to have threatened a female victim with a firearm in the course of committing a robbery in Greenville last March. No one was injured. The store clerk and Arkansas's cousin identified him as the gunman.
