Greenville murder suspect seeking bond reduction

By Brad Kellar

Greenville – A Greenville murder suspect is seeking a reduction in bond. 24-year-old Joshua William Lay remained in custody Monday in lieu of $100,000 bond for the alleged murder of Darryl Dwayne Fegget, of Greenville.

A hearing regarding Lay's motion to have his bond reduced has been set for Thursday.

The Greenville Police Department has not released any information as to what led Feggett to being shot multiple times at a local apartment complex last week. Lay reportedly has given a statement admitting to the shooting and the suspected murder weapon has been recovered, according to the police department.
