Greenville – The City of Greenville names Jeremy Powell as its new Deputy Fire Chief, who will take over operations at the position beginning May 26.
Powell replaces former Deputy Doug Caison, who was recently appointed as Fire Chief for the city.
Powell began working for the Greenville Fire-Rescue Department in 2000, and through the years has served as a firefighter, paramedic and engineer.
He is a graduate of Greenville High School, and attended both Collin County Community College and Texas A&M University-Commerce.
