Greenville PD's McCaslin Receives State Crime Prevention Awards

GREENVILLE - The Texas Crime Prevention Association (TCPA) has awarded Chris McCaslin, the Greenville Police Department’s Crime Prevention Officer, two awards for 2012.

During a recent ceremony McCaslin was presented with the awards for Outstanding Crime Prevention Specialist-Small Agency and Outstanding Crime Prevention Specialist-Overall. The honors are bestowed annually by TCPA and represent specialists who have made the greatest contributions to crime prevention during the preceding year.

McCaslin has been with the Greenville Police Department for 14 years offering crime prevention programs to children and adults throughout the community.

McCaslin said, “One of the enjoyable parts of my job is working with children and teaching them about crime prevention. I also want to thank my wife and the rest of the officers with the Greenville Police Department for all of their support.”
