Greenville Pool to accept reservations for private parties

Greenville – Beginning Monday, May 4, the Greenville Parks and Recreation Department will accept reservations for private parties to be held at Ja-Lu Pool this summer. Reservations can be made at the Parks and Recreation Department, located at 2315 Johnson Street, Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Rental fees must be paid in full, by cash or check at the time of the reservation and reservations are taken on a first come, first served basis. The pool can be reserved for private parties on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday evenings from May 30th through August 9th. Private pool parties begin at 7:00 p.m. and end at 9:00 p.m. on each of the available evenings. The rental fee for Greenville residents is $105.00 per hour and the rental fee for non-residents is $120.00 per hour.There is a two hour limit for all private pool party rentals. The rental fee includes the adequate number of lifeguards necessary to oversee the party. A Pool Party Rental Agreement Form is available online at www.ci.greenville.tx.us.

Registration for the Greenville Parks and Recreation Learn-To-Swim courses also begins on Monday, May 4. Registration is held weekdays from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Sam Reeves Alexander Municipal Annex Building, 2315 Johnson Street. Payments must be paid in full, by cash or check at the time of the registration and registrations are taken on a first come, first served basis. Learn-To-Swim courses are $25.00 for Greenville residents and $30.00 for nonresidents for each full session.
