Greenville Principal put on leave for TAKS test violations

Greenville – The principal of Greenville Intermediate School has been put on paid administrative leave. Karen Jo Barrow was put on leave for alleged TAKS test protocol violations and will remain on leave pending the outcome of an investigation.

Employees at the campus approached administration about alleged violations the observed during TAKS testing last week. The district then reported the reports to the Texas Education Agency. The district has 10 days to complete the investigation.

Barrow is in her first year as principal of the intermediate school after being transferred from a post at Greenville High School.
