Greenville residents still protesting electric substation

By Brad Kellar

Greenville – Residents of one Greenville neighborhood are still protesting an electric substation. About two dozen residents who live in or near the Creek Crossing neighborhood in southwest Greenville expressed Monday that more could have been done to notify them of, or even include them in the planning for, the project. Some of the homeowners were upset with the proximity of the project, amid fears of everything from reduced property values to an increased cancer risk to how trucks traveling to and from the site have been further damaging roads.
