Greenville sales taxes take deep cut

Greenville – The city of Greenville's local sales tax revenue is down this month. After posting months of record sales tax revenue gains, Greenville saw its take drop for this month significantly, according to the Texas Comptroller's Office. Greenville is in line to receive a sales tax payment of over $500,000 for the month, a decrease of about 10% from the record of $567,000 set one year ago.
