Greenville task force results in burglary arrests

By Scott Harvey

Greenville – The formation of a burglary task force through the Greenville Police Department results in multiple arrests.

Newly appointed Police Chief Daniel Busken organized the Task Force last month to combat the recent increase in vehicle burglaries and fraud offenses.

Late last week, two separate search warrants along Zora Drive and Joe Ramsey Boulevard led to the arrest of four individuals. Charges against the suspects range from credit card abuse and possession of controlled substances.

Authorities are reminding all citizens that many of the fraud offenses could have been prevented if those items had been properly secured. You're encouraged to remove valuables from your vehicles when unattended or secure them in the trunk when removing them is not practical.
