Greenville – A Greenville woman awaiting trial for allegedly covering up child abuse that led to her stepson's homicide has been charged as an active participant in the murder. The Herald Banner reports Florence Jean Tucker has been indicted on one count of capital murder. 50 year old Tucker had previously been indicted on charges of injury to a child, obstruction of justice, tampering with evidence, and tampering with a witness. Her husband, Anthony Charles Fisher pled guilty to a capital murder charge in June and was sentenced to life in prison for the death of his 4-year-old son, Jordan Mach in 2004. Court documents allege Jordan Mach had received months of beatings and other abuse before his death.
