Groundbreaking for Commerce hospital expansion set

By Kevin Jefferies

Commerce – Groundbreaking for a new facility for Presbyterian of Commerce is set for December 20th. The new 2,000 square-foot structure will house an outpatient behavioral health service for elderly patients and should be up and running by March of 2006. The building will be located on the southeast corner of the hospital campus, with offices, meeting rooms, and a reception and waiting area.

The Outpatient Geropsychiatric Program will assist older adults coping with the loss of loved ones or returning to normal life after an illness or accident.
