Gubernatorial candidate White to visit region

By Scott Harvey

Sherman, Paris – Texas' Democratic Gubernatorial candidate Bill White will make appearances in Sherman and Paris Friday to meet with educators, business leaders and voters.

White will begin the day in Sherman and meet with local leaders at Kelly Square.

He then travels to Paris for a Rotary Club meeting and an education forum hosted by District 3 Representative Mark Homer. The meeting and education forum will both be held at Paris Junior College's Student Center Ballroom at 2400 Clarksville Street at 12:00 p.m. and 1:30 p.m., respectively. They are open to the public.

White, the former mayor of Houston, faces Republican Incumbent Rick Perry in the November general election.
