Guilty plea entered in bootlegging case

By Brad Kellar

A guilty plea has been entered in connection with a bootlegging charge. Rogelio Noe Juarez, of Dallas, was one of seven people taken into custody in August, 2007 following raids on booths at the Quinlan Trade Days sale. The raids conducted resulted in the seizure of more than 9,000 counterfeit DVDs and CDs. During a hearing Monday, Juarez pleaded guilty to a Class A misdemeanor charge of false labeling less than seven items and was sentenced to 45 days in the Hunt County Jail.
