Guilty plea entered in copper theft case

Greenville – A guilty plea has been entered in a copper theft case. James Cook Barnes of Caddo Mills man has been sentenced to a year in state jail for stealing the large amount of copper from a vacant Greenville industrial plant in December. He will receive 215 days credit for time already served in the Hunt County Jail. The estimated value of the theft is between $1,500 and $20,000.
