Guilty plea heard in child endangerment case

By Brad Kellar

New Boston – A Northeast Texas woman has pleaded guilty to child endangerment. Deborah Anne Williams of New Boston entered the plea Tuesday during a court hearing. Williams is accused of transporting two children across North Texas in the back of a U-Haul truck. A judge placed Williams on five years on deferred adjudication probation, and ordered her to serve 30 days in the Hunt County jail, with no credit for time previously served. Williams was one of three New Boston residents that pleaded guilty to the incident.
