Commerce – A Commerce business is hoping to retrieve its license after having it revoked following a New Year's Day shooting.
The City Council will hold a public hearing tonight regarding an appeal of a dance hall license at The Lodge.
One person was stabbed and two shot following an altercation at the business. None of the victims sustained life threatening injuries. Hunt County Sheriff's Deputies that night would later take four people into custody for unlawfully carrying a weapon following a traffic stop along Highway 224 in Neylandville.
Tuesday's council meeting begins at 6 p.m. at City Hall.
