Greenville – Hunt County murder suspect Tracie Danielle Alphin is back in court today for the first time since her attorney announced plans to raise an insanity defense in the case.
Alphin, along with David Earl Hickman, are alleged to have acted together in the October 2008 shooting death of Jason Harrington, of Quinlan.
Both suspects have pleaded not guilty. Hickman's murder trial is scheduled for August.
Prosecutors have announced they are not seeking the death penalty in the case, should the two be convicted.
