Royse City – Another hearing is scheduled in connection to a Royse City capitol murder. The interim review hearing scheduled Wednesday for Brandon Dale Woodruff is the last currently scheduled in the case before the start of trial. Woodruff remains in custody at the Hunt County Jail in lieu of $1 million bond on one count of capital murder in connection with the deaths of his parents in 2005. Woodruff has pleaded not guilty. Prosecutors have announced they will not be seeking the death penalty in the case, should Woodruff be convicted of murder.
