Commerce – The Communities in Schools program Dallas Region, in cooperation with the Commerce ISD is holding a school-supply drive both this weekend and next.
You can drop off items in the parking lot of the Texas A&M University-Commerce Learning Center, located at the intersection of Highway 50 and Culver Street.
Donations may also be delivered to the CISDR office at the Commerce Middle School. Donations of "gently used" standardized-dress clothes will also be accepted at the CISDR office.
Since 1985, Communities In Schools Dallas Region has provided programs and services on the school campus to best meet the physical and emotional needs of at-risk students and empower them to remain in school. The mission of Communities In Schools Dallas Region is to help students at risk of failure stay in school, achieve academically and graduate, to become productive and contributing members of our communities.
