High fire danger Wednesday afternoon

National Weather Service/Fort Worth

Dry conditions and high temperatures are making way for high fire danger this afternoon across the region.

Along with the high temperatures comes a chance for showers and thunderstorms this afternoon. Frequent cloud-to-ground lightning will be possible with any storms, which may cause grass fires.

Report any grass fires you see immediately, and be very careful when dealing with burning substances.
