Commerce – A high speed chase that went through Commerce Tuesday leads to the arrest of an area woman. Vicki Dawn Szalay of Sumner, northwest of Paris, was arrested following the pursuit, which began Tuesday evening in Hunt County and ended in Delta County. Szalay was charged with evading arrest/detention with a vehicle and two counts of endangering a child, for having two children in the back seat of the station wagon she was driving at the time. The two children have been turned over to Child Protective Services.
