Greenville is going to be one of the destinations on the 12th Annual Kansas City Southern Holiday Express.
The train is scheduled to make a stop in Greenville at 4 PM Saturday at 2801 Stewart St, which is also the parking lot for the Hunt County Criminal Justice Center. During the free event visitors will be able to board the train, visit with Santa Claus and his elves, and tour the inside of three cars of the six car train. The holiday express train includes a smiling tank car Rudy, a flat car carrying Santa’s Sleigh, reindeer, and a miniature village, a gingerbread boxcar, a newly remodeled elves workshop, the reindeer stable, and a little red caboose. Each is dressed up in lights. The event is free and no ticket is required to attend.
